2. Evaluate the leadership characteristics you already possess; then identify at least 2 additional leadership characteristics you would like to develop. Explain how these characteristics will allow you to guide, educate, inform, and influence others to manage change in the field of public service. Servant (Spears, 1996) & Trait (Youngjohn, 1999)

4. Identify and evaluate the main tenets of ethical leadership, including the manner in which those tenets guide effective leadership in the field of public service. Ethical Leadership (Aikman, 2003)

5. Evaluate the tenets of diversity and inclusion in the field of public service and the need to incorporate those tenets into effective public service leadership. Diversity in the public service arena (Germany, 2011)

6. Analyze how your personal and academic experiences will contribute to and guide your development as an effective leader. (Hint: you may want to review the Scholar-Practitioner model.) (McClintock, 2004)
